1. Bass

We deliver tops cut of alpine spruce in B to master grade quality (BD B / A / AA / AAA). Neck backs, sides and blocks from European mountain maple are selected from plain up to extremely flamed
(BB/BH/BZ B to AAA). The sides are cut to 4.2 mm and can be sanded to thickness on customers demand.

Our sound posts made of alpine spruce are available in sizes ¾ (19 mm) and ½ (16 mm) selected in qualities Ia, I, II. The same classification of master grade, good up to simple is applied for the cut double bass bars. (Size app. 850 x 50 x 35 mm)

2. Cello

We have selected qualities from simple (CD B) up to master grade (CD Master), natural seasoned spruce cello tops in our warehouse. Neck blocks, backs and sides from European maple are stored in qualities from plain (B) up to master grade (Master). The sides and neck blocks are book matched to backs and if desired, we can grind the sides to 2.2 mm.

The huge selection of sound posts made of natural seasoned alpine spruce (Picea Abies) will surely leave no desire unfulfilled. One pack consists of 50 pieces with a length of 42 cm. You can order sound posts with a diameter of 11, 12 or 13 mm.

Bass bars for cello are made of spruce wood and can be offered in different qualities, from simple over good up to master grade The cuts have a size of 700 x 38 x 12 mm.

3. Viola & Violin

You have a choice between cut and split top wood for viola und violin. You can receive cut woods from B to master grade quality and split woods from IV (simple) to I (master grade) quality.

The product range for neck blocks, backs and sides of European maple is even wider: Here are stored qualities from simple (B) to selected master pieces available. In this process sides for viola can be delivered grinded to 1.4 mm and for violin to 1.35 mm. For one-piece backs, we charge an extra of 20%.

Natural seasoned spruce sound posts for viola are available in sizes 4/4 (diameter 7 mm) and ¾ (diameter 6.5 mm) and for violin in 4/4, ¾, ½, ¼, 1/8 and 1/16.

Cut spruce bars are available in simple, good and master grade quality. Split bars are disposable in good and simple quality as well as boxwood in 16 mm and 9.5 mm. This completes our offer of tonewood for these two instruments.
